Fractional Membership
It is the ideal solution for yachtsmen who want to continue enjoying ownership but desire less responsibility, or for those who want to move up in yacht size but don't want the hassles and expense of traditional ownership. Owning a luxury yacht becomes more affordable and enjoyable - because we handle all the maintenance, cleaning, and yacht management for you.
Membership covers all cost of operating, maintaining, and preparing each yacht for your arrival dockside and enjoyment on the water. Just pack you bags, some food and drink—everything else will be ready when you arrive. Or, if you prefer, order from our menu and food, snacks, and beverages will be provisioned for you.
Each member has monthly access to:
- five available weekdays
- one two-day weekend
- five available unused weekdays from previous month
- one additional weekend, upon approval from each member of the vessel
- unlimited as-available weekdays within a 24 hour window
Whether it's on the Chesapeake or in the warmth of Miami, there is no more luxurious way to enjoy sailing and entertaining than on an Elizabeth Austin Yacht.
Currently there are a limited number of memberships available on the yacht Persistence.
Annual superior membership is $40,000*. This covers ALL costs for equipping, maintaining, insuring, and meticulously preparing the vessel for every departure—for your departure. Of course, additional costs apply for provisioning the yacht per your request, for captain and crew or chef, and for catered dockside or on-water special events.
A monthly Auto-Pay Membership option at $3,750 monthly requires first and last month in advance. ($45,000 per year)
The Standard Membership of $4,000 monthly payment also requires first and last month in advance. ($48,000 per year).
*An additional, refundable security deposit will be required.

This 2009 45' Prout Catamaran is a breathtaking marriage of exotic wood interiors and accents, fine granite counters, spacious accommodations, and every creature comfort, with the latest in sailing electronics and safety equipment.
With her large and open decks and protected cockpit, she is wonderfully suited for entertaining family and friends, business associates, VIP guests, or anyone you want to impress.
With one owner's suite with bathroom, two staterooms, and one additional bathroom, Persistence sleeps eight comfortably. The salon can accommodate two additional guests. The galley is fully equipped with refrigerator, freezer, gas range and oven, microwave, and coffee maker. And a rail-mounted gas grill on the aft deck makes outdoor dining even more enjoyable.
Beginning January 15, 2011, Persistence will be available for member use in sunny Fort Lauderdale. Forget the hotel— Persistence is perfect accommodation for a warm-weather winter vacation in Florida.
The first week of April, she will be sailed north to Annapolis for the 2011 Spring, Summer, and Fall sailing season on the Chesapeake. All or part of this leisurely trip will be open to members and their guests.
